Readers of CityLab know that Kriston Capps, housing reporter and architectural critic, follows DC happenings closely and frequently reports on them. He and CityLab will host the organizations' first-ever HappyHourLab Thursday, December 15 at 6:30 pm at Il Parco (200 M St SE). Register for this free event.

The theme of the evening is "Yards Park, 11th Street Bridge, and Tapping Into Urban Waterways." Capps "will lead a conversation on the history and future of how D.C. is developing its urban waterfront and how that is affecting local communities."

This is a terrific opportunity for APACC members and others interested in Anacostia Park and River and the close-in neighborhoods in Wards 7 and 8 to meet others interested in the subject, meet Capps, and network. And talk up the challenges and solutions we are offering, led by residents and stakeholders. RSVP today and make sure you have plenty of business cards with you.
