Funding Alert: Partners for Places - Due July 30
Partners for Places RFP - Due July 30
The Funders' Network (TFN), in partnership with the Urban Sustainability Directors Network, has announced the opening of Round 15 of the Partners for Places grant program.
The grant program will provide partnership investments between $25,000 and $75,000 for one year projects, or $50,000 and $100,000 for two year projects, with a 1:1 match required by one or more local foundations.
Partners for Places is a successful matching grant program that improves U.S. and Canadian communities by building partnerships between local government sustainability leaders and place-based foundations. This round also includes dedicated funding for green infrastructure. National funders invest in local projects to promote a healthy environment, a strong economy, and well-being of all residents. Through these projects, Partners for Places fosters long-term relationships that make urban areas more prosperous, livable, and vibrant.
Proposals are due July 30th.
To date, Partners for Places has awarded nearly $7 million across North America in this successful matching grant program, leading to nearly $14 million in philanthropic investments. For more information, read through their 2016 Annual Report.
