FREE Friday Night Fishing

  • Diamond Teague Park Dock 1520 1st Street Southeast Washington, DC, 20001 United States (map)

Friday Night Fishing returns every Friday night from June 28 - August 23 on the dock at Diamond Teague Park! It is the perfect opportunity for new anglers, or those who are just looking for a good time on the Anacostia!

Anacostia Riverkeeper and the Earth Conservation Corps supply the rods, the bait, and the instruction.

Friday Night Fishing is completely FREE and is open to ALL AGES. However, those 16 and older are required to have a fishing license which can be purchased for the whole year here: https://doee.dc.gov/service/get-fishing-license

The program takes place on the dock at Diamond Teague Park, directly across from Nationals Stadium! There is no parking, however, the closest metro stop is the Navy Yard - Green Line.

Anacostia Riverkeeper's sponsors for Friday Night Fishing are Capitol Hill Community Foundation and Chloe restaurant.
