Snowy day breaking news: Chris Shorter, head of @DCDPW, which picks up trash and clears snow, is leaving position. Last day is Feb. 1. His departure comes during height of winter, when DPW does plenty of snow-clearing. (H/t @ChuckThies for initial scoop.)
